Bingo Hotspots
Welcome to Amy Bland, plus Bingo and Hotpot!
Meet Amy Bland! Amy will begin a one-week placement with us next Sunday.
Amy is to begin training for Ordination in the Autumn and is currently working in a Parish in Blackpool called Mereside, which is one of the most deprived parishes in the country.
Freedom Church in Mereside is a new Church of England church plant, led by Rev. Linda Tomkinson and founded in 2016. Freedom Church has a vision to renovate an old church hall in the parish, turning it into a Worship and Community Centre. On Thursday 16th May we are having a Bingo and Hot Pot night at St. Peter’s Club in Hurst Green to support them. There will be five games of bingo (prizes too!), plus Janice’s wonderful Hot Pot, and Amy will speak about their work in Mereside.

Ben Davies Court provides sheltered accommodation for people over the age of 55. There are also 12 general needs properties for families with no children.
We're located in the quiet village of Romiley surrounded by pleasant countryside.
Local amenities include shops, doctors and dentists, all within a 5 minute walk.
There's a regular bus service to nearby Stockport from a bus stop just outside the court, and a train station with a frequent service to Manchester and Sheffield.
Bingo Hotspot
We have 39 flats, all of which have had new bathroom and kitchens fitted recently. Our on-site facilities include a guest room, laundry, communal lounge and large, well maintained gardens.

The attractive gardens also give the option for a spot of outdoor relaxation and socialising in fine weather.
